Plus I read the System of the World trilogy again (need to do it at least once a year), a bunch of comics (which don’t count), and other rereads because I can rarely be bothered to behave. Back to gardening and website design now, guilt partially assuaged.
You’ve been very busy! I do like Diana Wynne Jones. You’ve read several that have been on my “to read” list for a while!
Thanks! DWJ has always been about my favourite author (there’s a long and involved story about how I discovered her, aged 10 – me, not her – but I’ll save that for another day). Baffles me how Stephenie Meyer gets all the adulation and there’s this fabulous writer who’s been out there doing it for decades. At least Mr Miyazaki knows she’s great.
I’ve never actually read anything by Stephanie Meyer, but I always felt like that about DWJ and J. K. Rowling!
